HOW MUCH TIME DOES TATTOO REMOVAL TAKE?

Removing a tattoos does take time. It is not instant. While our laser technology is the best available in Northeast Wisconsin, even the best laser systems – ours! – requires multiple treatments for complete removal. Tattoos have been removed in just one treatment before, but most tattoos need five to ten treatments for complete removal.

Each treatment will take between five and fifteen minutes. The length of each treatment session depend on the size of the tattoo. If you’ve got an unwanted tattoo that is the size of a postage stamp, your time under the laser may literally take a few seconds. The steps included in each laser treatment are: a quick assessment of the tattoo’s fading progress, a superficial numbing of the skin with our Zimmer Cryo 6 cold air machine, the laser treatment, and last, bandaging the treated area.We have this process down to a science – minimizing your time with us each visit. That’s why we’re Appleton’s best tattoo removal clinic – no waiting!

Six to eight weeks minimum are needed between treatments, so if eight treatments are needed, the laser tattoo removal process will take one year to complete. It’s worth it though because don’t you want that tattoo removed?
